Ciabatta and Ham

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at Is is the ingredients! Make sure they are the best!

slices of ciabatta bread, sliced about 3/4 inch thick
quince paste jam
slices of good quality smoked ham (smoked ham slices from Jones Dairy farm)
slices of fresh mozarella cheese
drizzles of extra virgin olive oil

Simply slice the bread, spread each slice with about 1/2 teaspoon of the quince paste so that it covers the entire surface and goes down into the holes of the bread a bit. Arrange pieces of the ham (may have to cut or tear the ham slices so that they will fit neatly on the bread) over the quince paste, arrange slices of fresh mozarella and drizzle with just a few drops of olive oil. Cut each slice into 3 pieces and serve as an appetizer. Perfect with a great syrah!
