Radishes with Sesame Dressing

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Serve as a side dish with any stir fry and rice dish. Add to salads, etc. Serve chilled for best flavor.

10-12 red radishes
1 1/2 teaspons fine sea salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil

Wash and trim the radishes, and crush lightly with back of a sturdy knife, or with a meat pounder. They should remain whole but be slightly crushed. Put in bowl and toss with the salt, sugar, vinegar and water. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Pour off the liquids, and toss with the sesame oil. Serve!
