Blueberry and Chocolate Squares

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate (2 squares Baker's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate)
1 cup crystalline brown sugar (Sugar in The Raw)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla bean paste
2 eggs, whisked
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon unbleached all purpose flour
3/4 - 1 cup fresh blueberries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter and chocolate in glass or ceramic batter bowl. Microwave 30 seconds, stir. Microwave another 30-40 seconds to melt chocolate. Whisk in the sugar, salt and vanilla and then the eggs. Blend in the flour with a spatula. If pan is not non-stick, brush with a bit of butter or olive oil and then spread the batter into 8 by 8 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with the blueberries. Bake 20-25 minutes, or until set up and done in the center. Remove to a cooling rack and after it has cooled for about half an hour or more, slice and serve.
