Sweet Red Bean Paste Treats
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. You can purchase Sweetened Red Bean Paste at Asian markets. I got mine at Kim's Oriental Market in Seaside, Ca. You can also cook up some red beans, mash them and add sugar to taste. It is a very thick sweet pulp mixture.
sweetened red bean paste
fresh strawberries, grapes, oranges, lychees, etc.

rice crackers
Make small balls out of the bean paste and place a piece of fruit on top, pushing it into the paste. Also, this can be served in a small dish with a little spreader. Spread onto crackers, onto carrot sticks, etc. It is a sweet treat! And, when eating some of the hot curry dishes, this is a gret companion to balance the flavors.
