Use whatever dried fruits you may have, such as cranberries, currants, raisins, apricots, peaches, berries. Use whatever seeds or finely chopped nuts you wish. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brush the 1 teaspoon olive oil over bottom and half way up the sides of a 9 by 5 inch loaf pan. In batter bowl, whisk together the flours, oatmeal, seeds, sugar, soda, salt, dried fuits and nuts to blend well. Blend in the beer and pour into prepared baking pan. Bake 45 minutes, or until it tests done and in nicely browned and smells great! Cool in pan for about 15 minutes, remove and allow to cool a bit before slicing.
