Radishes, Rye Bread and Brats

Bratwurst or other sausages, as desired
rye bread sliced very thin
German mustard, or other flavorful grainy mustard
big red radishes
semi-coarse sea salt
apple slices
several varieties of cheeses, such as Gruyere, Emmenthal, other Swiss cheeses, and a nice creamy blue cheese

Slice the sausages into bite sized pieces, cutting them slightly at an angle. In a heavy bottomed skillet or griddle, heat them a few minutes to brown slightly.
Spread each bread slice with some mustard. Slice the radishes and apples and then sprinkle with a bit of sea salt. Arrange everything on a platter with the varieties of cheeses.
