Summer Salad ... Peaches and Nectarines!

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Yes, another salad using local fresh summer harvest! And, your own homemade salad dressing, as usual!

2-6 cups mixed baby greens, or as desired
1-2 peaches or nectarines, or both
cherry tomatoes, or diced Heirlooms
1 avocado
2-3 fresh basil leaves, or more as desired
1/2 cup garlic flavored croutons, or bread sticks

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
juice and zest of 1 small lemon
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar or other fruity vinegar
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon semi-coarse sea salt
freshly ground pepper

In beautiful salad bowl, combine greens, diced peaches or nectarines, tomatoes and diced avocado along with the torn or snipped basil leaves and croutons. In glass measuring cup, whisk the olive oil, juice and zest of the lemon, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour over salad ingredients, toss and serve.
