cooking oil, such as corn or peanut
balsamic vinegar aged at least 10 years
white wine vinegar
red wine vinegar
semi-coarse sea salts in varieties
crystalline brown sugar (Sugar in the Raw, etc)
dried herbs such as Herbs d' Provence, etc.
peppercorns in a pepper grinder
pure (NEVER imitation) vanilla extract and also vanilla bean paste
beef, chicken, vegetable stock (make sure it is natural, good quality)
unbleached all-purpose flour
tomato paste in a tube
hot sauce of some kind (tabasco, etc.)
prepared mustard
dark chocolate
unsweetened chocolate powder
