Crispy Cookies with Fruit
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. These are so easy, and everyone loves them! Makes about 24. Serve with fresh fruits of the season.
1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
In processor using steel chopping blade, process butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Blend in flour, wheat germ and spices. Shape into balls about 1 1/2 inches and flatten with a fork, or bottom of a glass. Sprinkle with sugar or hemp seeds. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Let cool until firm, then remove from baking sheets. Serve with sliced berries for a great dessert.
