From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. With the great variety of semi-coarse sea salts available now, enjoy fresh apple slices as an appetizer, salad, or dessert. And, it pairs nicely with just about any wine, red or white! Also wondeful served with vegetable soups, such as a nice Brussel sprout soup.

unpeeled apple, very thinly sliced
pinches semi-coarse sea salt

Do not peel the apple, just slice it as thin as possible and arrange on a plate. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of semi-coarse sea salt, such as the Black Lava or Himalayian Pink, Hawaiian Coral, Monterey Bay Salt, etc. Use only 1-2 crystals per apple slice, do not add too much!!
