Fruit on the Table as Beautiful as Flowers
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This is a very open ended recipe...in other words, just create like the artist Monet would have, only instead of paints, we are using cheeses, fresh fruits, nice bread slices, etc. Enjoy your family and friends!
Arrange, slice, spread, dip and eat along with some wine. Monet did not care for champagne unless it was decanted...he did like the light wines of the Loire, such as Sancerre. Also red delicate Gamay, claret, burgundy, etc.
