Fruit on the Table as Beautiful as Flowers

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This is a very open ended recipe...in other words, just create like the artist Monet would have, only instead of paints, we are using cheeses, fresh fruits, nice bread slices, etc. Enjoy your family and friends!

Mimolette cheese
Camembert cheese
Lots of bread
Apples, pears, grapes...
Meat and/or cheese pate

Arrange, slice, spread, dip and eat along with some wine. Monet did not care for champagne unless it was decanted... He adored Veuve Cliquot Champagne and would always decant it! He did like the light wines of the Loire, such as Sancerre. Also red delicate Gamay, claret, burgundy, etc.

Recipe created 2011-11-15.
