Cocoa or Carob Frosting

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at

2 cups organic powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa or carob powder
1/4 cup softened butter (not melted)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla bean paste
liquid to make a smooth spreading consistency (brandy, water, port, orange juice.....)

This is easy to make with a food processor with steel chopping blade in place, or simply beat everything together in a bowl. Blend sugar, cocoa or carob, butter and vanilla. Then drizzle your choice of liquid in while blending, adding just enough to get a nice smooth spreading consistency, usually 1-2 tablespoons of liquid.
