Hamburger and Quinoa Patties
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. A very open-ended recipe (guide) so that you can adjust the seasonings and quantities as desired. If you have cooked quinoa from another use and have some leftover, it adds a great texture to burgers.
1/2 pound lean ground beef, or other ground meats as desired
Combine all ingredients and shape into patties. Sprinkle a little bit more quinoa over patties. Heat heavy bottomed frypan or saute pan, adding 1-2 tablespoons oil or butter as needed. Cook 1-2 minutes, turn patties and cook 1-2 minutes more or to your desired doneness.
