3-4 tablespoons cooked quinoa
oil or butter for the pan

1/2 - 3/4 pound fresh green beans
2 - 3 tablespoons water
salt and pepper as desired
mayonnaise or salsa, or both! for serving

Heat heavy bottomed frypan or saute pan, adding 1-2 tablespoons oil or butter as needed. Cook 1-2 minutes, turn patties and cook 1-2 minutes more or to your desired doneness. In meantime, wash and remove the stem ends from the green beans. Put the water in a skillet with a lid and bring to a boil. Quckly add the green beans, cover, and cook 2 - 3 minutes. Do not overcook!!! Remove the green beans to a plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve with the hamburger patties with mayo or salsa, or both for dipping and dressing!
