Mushrooms for Everything!

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Use this method for the best tasting cooked mushrooms to use just as they are as a vegetable dish, cool to toss into salads, use in sauces,make a soup...NEVER buy a can of mushrooms again!

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, any variety
1/4 cup fresh snipped parsley, if desired
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, or extra virgin olive oil

Carefully brush each mushroom with a wet brush or towel. Slice or chop , or leave whole as desired. Place in glass or ceramic batter bowl with butter. Cover with a layer of the snipped parsley. (This acts as a lid.) Cook in microwave for 2-3 minutes. Stir together and serve or use as desired.
