Fresh Fig Roulades

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This makes 12, easy to double if serving a crowd.

1/3 cup ricotta
2-3 oz. blue cheese (Stilton, Roquefort, Maytag Blue, etc...)
1 tablespoon sour cream or mayonnaise
12 slices (very thin) ham or prosciutto
6 fresh figs
fresh dill for garnish (or parsley, etc.)

Blend together the ricotta, blue cheese and sour cream or mayonnaise. Place ham or prosciutto slices out flat and evenly spread on the cheese mixture, spreading almost to the edges. Slice figs in half lengthwise. (If they are really large, slice into thirds or quarters.) Place one fig piece on each ham slice and roll up securely. Arrange on platter, sprinkle with fresh dill or other herbs. Serve! These can be made ahead and refrigerated for several hours, if desired.
