Tuscan cooking is simple and delicious, and this method of cooking a great T-bone steak is just exactly that! Serve with Pisellini alla Fiorentina. 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns, coarsely freshly ground Allow the steak to stand at room temperature about 30 minutes. This traditionally is best cooked over a very hot charcoal fire. If you do not have one, use a stove-top grill pan and heat it very hot. Rub the pepper into both sides of the meat. Cook about 4-5 minutes on the first side, turn and cook about 3 minutes on the second side. Salt the steak only after you have turned it over to cook on the second side. When done to your liking, remove and dollop both sides lightly with the olive oil. Serve immediately. Recipe created 2012-09-30. © 1996-2013 Dorothy McNett. All Rights Reserved. |
