Crostini, Cheeses, Salami, Olive Oil

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Try to get 2-3 cheeses from a particular region of Italy, such as Florence and throughout Tuscany. Serve with the toasted Italian bread and some thin slices of meats such as salami, prosciutto, etc.

slices Italian bread, 1/2 inch thick
a variety of cheeses
salami, such as: Ubriaco uncured Italian salami, Soppressata, Italian Dry Salami, etc...
raw vegetable sticks and sliced radishes, etc.
extra virgin olive oil

Cut each slice of bread in half crosswise. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet and broil until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Turn each slice and broil again until crispy and browned, about 2 minutes. Drizzle with a little bit of olive oil. Arrange with the cheeses and meats on a beautiful platter or plate, or attractive cutting board. Add some colorful raw vegetables. Provide olive oil in small bowls for dipping and drizzling, as desired.
