Mozzarella Sweet Baby Tomato Hearts

mozzarella cheese
tiny baby sweet red tomatoes
fresh basil leaves
sprinkles of extra virgin first cold pressed olive oil

Cut the cheese into slices about 1/4 inch thick. With your paring knife, cut the cheese into heart shapes. You can push and pull it a bit with your fingers to take a nice heart shape. Place on a beautiful platter. Slice the tomatoes in half and place the cut sides down on the hearts, decorating with the basil leaves and sprinkle of olive oil. Or, simply arrange the cheese slices and tomato slices on toothpicks along with some basil and sprinkle with the oil and serve!
