Cream Cheese Jack-o-Lantern

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Add whatever spices and seasonings you wish to the cream cheese mixture. The carrot juice gives just the right pumpkin color!

8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon chili powder blend, if desired
2-3 tablespoons carrot juice
1 teaspoon sweetened cocoa powder
licorice, or other candies or fresh vegetables cut into shapes
1 flour tortilla
celery and carrot sticks, crackers, etc. for serving

Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature, or place in a glass bowl and soften in microwave at 1/2 power (power level 5) for 1 minute, adding 30 seconds more if needed to soften. Stir in the chili powder. Remove about 2-3 tablespoons to a small bowl. Set aside. To the remaining cheese blend in the carrot juice and stir carefully to get it mixed in to make a smooth mixture. Place the flour tortilla on a serving plate or platter. Spread the carrot cheese mixture over the tortilla to make a pumpkin shape, spreading and smoothing. Stir the cocoa powder into the reserved cheese, blending well. Use this to make the stem. Use cut pieces of licorice or other candies or vegetables pieces to create the jack-o-lantern face. Serve with carrot sticks and celery sticks, crackers and etc. for dipping and spreading. Boo!
