Salsa Para Enchiladas Verdes

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at www.dorothymcnett.com. Also great with fajitas by adding some roasted red (hot or sweet) peppers.

1 tablespoon oil
1 garlic clove, mashed
1 (7 oz.) can diced green chiles
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water

Microwave oil and garlic 1 minute. Whisk in remaining ingredients. Microwave 2 minutes. Whisk. Microwave another 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Cool.
