Caper Sauce for Fish, etc. (Fish and Fresh Figs!)

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at This sauce can be served cold or warmed.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon capers, drained
1/8 teaspoon pepper
sauteed fish
fresh figs

Whisk all ingredients in glass measuring cup. Warm in microwave for 30 seconds, do not over-heat or let it boil. Whisk well. Serve with fried fish fresh figs, etc.
