Bacon Wrapped Appetizers

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Nice addition to any appetizer plate, and good dipped into salsa, etc.

12 or so fresh brussel sprouts, cut in half (or 1 can whole water chestnuts, drained)
dried apricot halves (B & R Apricots from San Benito County!)
whole raw almonds
1 pound bacon slices

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut brussel sprouts in half. If using the water chestnuts, drain and pat dry with paper towel. Cut bacon strips into 2 or 3 pieces, to comfortably be able to wrap around the brussel sprout half or the water chestnut. Secure with toothpicks and arrange on a silicone lined baking sheet with sides. Tuck a raw almond into apricot and wrap it as much as possible and then wrap a piece of bacon around and secure with toothpick. Place on the baking sheet. Bake about 25-30 minutes, or until bacon is crisp. Remove to paper towel lined platter to cool. Arrange and serve!
