Cumin Sauce or Dip

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This is great used as a drizzle into any hot soup at serving time, or even as a salad dressing over a big bowl of fresh greens along with some olive oil. And, don't forget about tortilla chips, etc for appetizers as this makes a good dip. Serve with Kale Chips, etc.

2 - 3 tomatoes (2 cups coarsely chopped)
1-2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeņo pepper
2 green onions
zest of 1 lemon or lime and 1 tablespoon juice
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Finely chop the tomatoes, cilantro, pepper and onions. Combine with remaining ingredients to make a nice sauce. Or, combine all ingredients in food processor, using steel chopping blade. Process, using on/off pulse to chop. Do not over process or it will become foamy. Serve cold.
