A tasty appetizer to serve along with a platter of vegetable sticks, cheeses, etc. Serve with wines, etc. as a nice "welcoming to dinner" course for your friends. Reminds me of an unrecorded song of John Lennon, 1976, named "She's a Friend of Dorothy's"... 1 pkg. bread sticks Pour the olive oil into a flat plate or shallow dish with sides, stirring in the snipped oregano and smoked paprika. Roll the bread sticks around in the mixture to coat them a bit. Heat a large flat skillet or griddle. Place some of the sticks on the hot pan in a single layer and heat about 1-2 minutes, just to lightly brown but do not let them burn. Repeat with remaining sticks. Arrange on a platter along with vegetable sticks and assorted cheeses. Recipe created 2014-02-20. © 1996-2013 Dorothy McNett. All Rights Reserved. |
