Brown Rice with Assorted Nuts and Onions
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. A great way to serve brown rice...lots of flavor packed with nutrition.
1 cup brown rice
Cook the rice (see recipe for Brown Rice). While rice is cooking, chop the jalapeno and onions and saute for a few minutes in saute pan, using grapeseed oil or other oil or unsalted butter. Set aside. When rice is done, combine all ingredients and serve.
