Monterey Bay Salmon

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. FRESH!!!

1-2 salmon steaks or fillets
sprinkles of dried herbs, such as Herbs d' Provence
sprinkles of sea salt
sprinkles of pepper
1-2 teaspoons oil or butter

greens, berries, sauces, etc. as desired

Sprinkle the fish with herbs, salt and pepper. Heat a heavy bottomed skillet, add butter or oil. When nice and hot but not smoking hot, saute the fish about 2-3 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fish and how you like it done. Place on plate, serve with greens and a freshly made strawberry, blueberry, or raspberry sauce or salsa, as desired.
