American Flag Dessert

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Will we get into trouble for eating the flag???

8 oz. package cream cheese
8 oz. carton creme fraiche
1-2 tablespoons Marsala or other sweet white wine, or honey
fresh strawberries or raspberries
fresh blueberries
semi-coarse sea salt

homemade ginger snaps or other "traditional" cookies/crackers

Place cream cheese in a glass or ceramic batter bowl and soften in microwave on half power (power level 5) for 1 minute. Blend in the creme fraiche and sweet wine (use only light colored as you want to have the flag have white stripes!) to make a smooth spreading consistency. Spread it out onto a flat plate or platter into a rectangle. Create the flag with sliced strawberries and blueberries. Sprinkle with a bit of salt, and serve with Grandma's Ginger Snaps.
