Teufel Dip (Devil's Dip)

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Serve as an appetizer over small rye bread slices, or vegetable sticks. Also good as a dip to be served with meat fondues.

1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup diced prosciutto, or other ham / salami
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2-3 tablespoons finely minced parsley
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar, or lemon juice
rye bread slices
fresh vegetable sticks

Whip the cream, and then stir in the remaining ingredients. Spread over bread slices and also use as a dip for raw vegetables such as celery, carrots, zucchini, green beans, etc.
