Salami and Apples
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. You don't really need a printed recipe for these, just create! But sometimes without a recipe to remind us how easy certain things are, we forget to make them.
baby lettuce greens, small and tender
thin slices of salami
brie or soft chevre, room temperature
thin slices of apples
Spread a small amount of soft cheese over individual lettuce leaf, top with a slice of salami, then an apple slice. Roll up and arrange on a beautiful platter and serve with any wine of choice.
