Endive and Gouda "Cookie" Appetizers

1 cup all purpose unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of freshly ground pepper
pinch of ground nutmeg
1 3/4 cups grated Gouda cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

endive leaves
cheese dip, or other dipping sauce
Dutch cheeses

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In food processor, combine flour, baking powder, pepper, nutmeg, cheese and butter and whirl to make a dough. Shape into a flat ball and roll out using a lightly floured work surface and rolling pin to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with a round cookie cutter, or just cut into squares using a knife. Place on silicone lined baking sheets and bake about 10 - 12 minutes or until nicely browned and done. Cool. Arrange endive on platter along with other cheeses and a dip and grapes along with the cooled gouda cookies. Serve!
