Chocolate Sauce

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at After it has melted you can add some finely chopped nuts, or cocoa nibs, etc. as desired.

1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup half and half, or almond milk, hemp milk, etc....

Put chocolate chips in a glass measuring cup or bowl and pour in the milk. Heat in microwave 1 minute. Stir, and if the chocolate is not totally melted, add another 30 seconds and stir well. Serve over cakes, ice cream, etc. and can be served warm or room temperature. It will firm up if left to stand several hours. Reheat 15 seconds to melt again.
