Hawaiian Bread Rolls

1 envelope active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (110 degrees)
2 eggs
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup raw sugar
1/2 teaspoon Hawaiian pink sea salt
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla bean paste
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cups all purpose unbleached flour

In glass measuring cup combine the yeast and warm water. In batter bowl, whisk the eggs and then whisk in the pineapple juice, sugar, salt, ginger, vanilla and the yeast mixture. Blend in the melted butter. Using a spoon, stir in the flour to make a stiff batter. Cover with a cloth napkin or dishtowel and place in a warm draft free place to rise for about 1 hour. Turn out onto a work surface, and shape into rolls. Place rolls in a baking pan or on a silicone lined baking sheet. Cover and allow to rise about 40 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake them about 30 - 35 minutes until nicely browned and they are firm when lightly tapped with your fingers on the top. Allow to cool a bit and serve!
