Garlic Dip with Fresh Vegetable Sticks

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com.

1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
6 - 8 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup sour cream, or yogurt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 - 2 teaspoons white wine or milk, as needed for consistency
lots of fresh vegetable sticks or slices (carrots, radishes, celery, cauliflower, turnips.....)
pretzels or crackers, if desired

Place the cheese in a glass or ceramic batter bowl. Soften in microwave on half power (power level 5) for 30 - 45 seconds, adding another 30 seconds if needed but do not let it get hot. Blend in garlic, sour cream, Worcestershire and salt. If needed, splash in a bit of wine or milk to make a good dipping consistency. Place in bowl, arrange vegetables and pretzels around it.
