Spicy Hot Chickpeas

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This is a great mixture of spices, and can be eaten as a snack or appetizers, or tossed into a salad. Serve these over Baked Cream Cheese with crackers or bread slices and lots of wine to drink! (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, etc.)

4 cups (2 cans) garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
zest of lime and 1 teaspoon of the juice
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon chile powder
1/4 teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika
3/4 teaspoon sea salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Drain the beans and pat them dry with paper towels and place in a bowl. Toss in all of remaining ingredients and spread into a baking sheet with sides. Bake about 30 - 40 minutes. Stir and allow to cool.
