Korean Dipping Sauce or Marinade

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Its real name is Kajin Yaknyomjang....and is popular for dipping raw or steamed vegetables, rice balls, and also for marinating fish and meats, etc.

3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine, or vermouth
1 tablespoon honey or raw sugar
1 green onion, very finely minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 - 2 raw walnuts, finely chopped
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper (cayenne...)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

raw radishes, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, celery, endive, etc......
bead sticks or crackers as desired

Combine all ingredients, except for the radishes and etc. that you will use for serving. Arrange those vegetables on a platter and put sauce in a bowl in the center. Add bread sticks if desired.
