Goat Cheese Lavender Appetizer

From Dorothyy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This is a variation of a popular Lavender Goat Cheese Fondue which seems to be served in many Seattle restaurants as a great appetizer!

12 oz. goat cheese, soft (room temperature)
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream (use a bit less if using the cream)
2 teaspoons dried lavender
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
crusty bread slices or crackers
red delicious apple slices

Place cheese, milk, lavender, honey and salt in a bowl and blend to make a smooth spread. Place in serving bowl and serve with crusty bread slices and red delisious apple slices for spreading.
