Tinola is a soup based dish served as an appetizer or main dish in the Philippines. 5 cups water In saucepan bring the water to a boil. Cut the fish into small pieces. Chop and dice the ginger, tomatoes, peppers and green onions. Add everything to the boiling water, reduce to a simmer, and cook about 10 minutes or more, as desired.
