Red and Green Christmas Salad

1/2 pound bacon, cooked and diced
Cook the bacon and cut or break into pieces and set aside. Cut the broccoli into bite sized pieces. Leave it raw, or if desired place it in a glass or ceramic batter bowl, cover with a glass or ceramic plate and cook in microwave for 4 - 5 minutes. Allow to cool. When ready to serve, combine in a beautiful salad bowl the bacon, broccoil, diced pepper, sliced radishes, sliced chives, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries and cheese. In a glass measuring cup whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, zest and juice of lemon, sugar or honey, salt and pepper. Toss into the salad. This can be served immediately or set aside for a few hours, or refrigerate overnight if needed.
