Spiced Nuts

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Use with appetizers, with cheeses, with salads, and just plain enjoy them!!!

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon chilii pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika
1/4 cup raw sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cups raw unsalted nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds...or a combination)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In saucepan melt butter and then quickly stir in the spices,sugar and soy sauce. Cook and stir about 1 minute and then stir in the nuts and cook and stir about 2 minutes. Pour onto a baking sheet with sides and spread them out nicely. Bake about 10 - 15 minutes and then remove from the oven, place on a cooling rack and allow them to cool, stirring from time to time. Enjoy!!
