Whiskey Sauce for Pecan Pie

1/2 cup unsalted butter
In glass or ceramic batter bowl, melt the butter in microwave 30 - 40 seconds. Blend in the sugar. In a small bowl whisk the egg well and then whisk into the butter mixture. Cook in microwave 30 seconds, whisk well and then cook another 30 seconds, whisk, 30 seconds and whisk. Blend in the whiskey. Serve warm with pecan pie, other desserts, etc.
