Chocolate Covered Blueberries

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. New Jersey is also known as the "blueberry state" as blueberries are very popular in that area and are used in so many ways. If fresh ones are not available, use dried ones.

1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cups fresh blueberries

In glass or ceramic batter bowl melt the chocolate chips and butter in microwave 1 minute. Stir to finish the melting, adding another 30 seconds or more if needed to melt completely. Gently stir in the blueberries and then scoop by tablespoons onto waxed paper or parchment lined baking sheet to make nice pieces. Allow to firm at room temperature for 1 - 2 hours or more, chilling if necessary. Serve as a candy, as a dessert, as a side to salads, etc. etc. etc.
