Nutty and Seedy Salad!

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Sometimes the name of a recipe creates the appetite!! Just another very versatile quick and easy salad for all occasions!! Be creative!

lots of fresh local greens (romaine, butter lettuce, baby lettuce,spinach.....)
fresh snipped herbs (parsley, basil, thyme....)
4 - 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 - 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
freshly ground pepper, as desired
1/2 - 3/4 cup raw pecans or almonds, etc.
2 - 3 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
2 - 3 tablespoons hemp seeds, or sesame seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds....

Thoroughly wash and pat dry the greens and place in a beautiful bowl along with the herbs. In a glass measuring cup whisk together the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and pour over the greens along with the nuts and seeds. Toss and serve!
