Salad of Greens and Creamy Dressing

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at A great creamy dressing, popular in city restaurants as well as a great "street walking touring" salad lunch! enjoy the views and a great salad as well! Also nice with kippered herring, or smoked salmon, frankfurters, etc. tossed in at serving time. Leftover cold London Broil slices are always a favorite.

1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 - 2 green onions, minced
2 - 3 tablespoons snipped fresh chives
1 - 2 tablespoons fresh dill, snipped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
freshly ground pepper, as desired
Iceberg lettuce leaves, and or other nice crispy fresh greens as available

In measuring cup whisk together all of the dressing ingredients and toss it into the bowl of nice fresh crispy greens. Enjoy!!
