Fresh Fruit Tarts

the baked tart crust from above recipe, cooled
3 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced very thin
1-2 oranges, peeled and cut into slices
whole almonds, toasted
1/3 cup jelly (or 2-3 tablespoons honey)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice the apples and arrange them in overlapping circles over the baked tart crust. Bake for 12 minutes. Remove tart from oven and preheat the broiler. Slice the oranges and arrange over the apples. Arrange the toasted almonds over the oranges. Brush everything with the warmed jelly or honey (warmed for 30-40 seconds in the microwave). Pop the pie under the broiler for several minutes, or until it is starting to brown. Serve warm or chilled.
