Silver Dollar Pancakes

1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup sourdough starter
2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 cups flour (all-purpose)
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon sugar
Preheat and oil a griddle. In medium bowl, mix the egg, milk, and starter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter onto preheated griddle, using 1 tablespoons per pancake. Cook about 1 minute per side, or until golden. Serve with pure maple syrup, or your favorite jam or jelly.
