Apple Crisp

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at

1 cup granola
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dark brown sugar (raw sugar)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4-6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into 1/4 inch slices
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon raw sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Rub a little butter over the bottom and up the sides of a deep 2 quart baking dish. In mixing bowl, combine the granola, oats, walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut butter into chunks and using your fingers, crumble the butter into the flour mixture. Place the apple slices in baking dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice and the 1 tablespoon sugar. Cover completely with the cereal mixture and bake for 40-50 minutes.
