Spiced Pecan Cheese with Fruit

4 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon butter or olive oil
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1-2 teaspoons mixed dry herbs (Herbs d'Provence, etc)
1/2 - 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans, such as Jeffrey's Spiced Pecans
crackers or bread slices
pear and apple slices
Combine pepper, onion, and butter and microwave on High 1 minute. Add cream cheese and microwave on half power 1 minute. Blend well, adding Worcestershire and seasonings. Shape into a ball and roll in pecans. Chill. Serve with crackers and fruit wedges.
