Chocolate Covered Pretzels

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Perfect for a camping trip or a nice snack anytime while listening to John Denver's music!

salted pretzels
1 cup dark chocolate chips
sprinkles or chopped nuts, as desired

Place the chocolate in a glass or ceramic batter bowl and melt in microwave 1 minute. Stir. Cook another 30 seconds and stir to melt, adding 30 seconds more if needed. Dip each pretzel into the chocolate and place on waxed paper or a silicone mat. Sprinkle with some colorful sprinkles, or simply use finely chopped nuts. Allow to harden.
