Cajun Fruit Cup

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at

melon balls, made from honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon
1 small cucumber, diced
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint leaves
2 teaspoons Creole or Cajun seasoning (or less)
2 teaspoons candied ginger, finely diced

Make the melon balls and place in a bowl with the cucumber and then add the remaining ingredients. Chill. Serve in a lettuce leaf cup, or serve alongside of a dollop of lime sherbet on a hot summer night.
